The first proposal is to create an outdoor reading area to provide a peaceful environment for reading and studying. The second option is to modernize the library's computer facilities. The library board is seeking community input to determine which improvement would better serve local residents' needs.

Many people rely on the library’s computers to look for jobs, complete schoolwork, or access important information. Some residents may not have a computer or internet at home, so better facilities will help them stay connected.
Modern computers also run faster and can support newer programs. This makes work easier and helps students and job seekers complete tasks more efficiently.
An outdoor reading area sounds relaxing, but it depends on weather. On rainy or cold days, it can’t be used. Computers, however, are useful every day, all year round.
Upgrading digital access will also help people learn important tech skills, especially seniors or those unfamiliar with new technology.
For these reasons, I believe improving the computer facilities will help more people and offer long-term benefits to the whole community.
