Writing Task 1: Writing an Email

Read the following information.

You are a member of the school art club and plan to hold an art exhibition. You need to write to the principal to get approval for this event.

Write an email to the principal in about 150-200 words. Your email should do the following things:

  • Introduce what the art exhibition will show.
  • Explain why the club wants to hold this event.
  • Ask for permission to use the school hall.
