Word count: 150
Option A: Schools should be responsible for teaching financial management skills through formal education.
Response:
I believe schools should be responsible for teaching financial management skills through formal education.
Not all students have the chance to work while they are young. If schools include money lessons in the curriculum, every student can learn important skills like saving, budgeting, and using credit wisely.
Financial education in school can start with simple topics and grow as students get older. This way, they build a strong foundation before entering the real world. Learning from teachers also means students get accurate and safe information.
Real-world experience is helpful, but mistakes with money can be costly. It’s better for students to understand the basics before handling real income.
Schools already teach life skills like health and safety. Managing money is just as important and should be part of formal education.
For these reasons, I believe schools are the best place to teach financial management skills to students.
