The city council is considering a proposal to rename many of the city's older streets, which are currently named after historical figures. The proposal suggests replacing these names with a numbered grid system (e.g., 1st Street, 2nd Avenue) to make navigation easier for visitors and emergency services. The council is now surveying residents for their opinion on this matter.
